You will select your category during check-in the day of the comp. The scoring will be done on a redpoint format and tallied on scorecards.

Competition Format

Categories:

Mens

  • Beginner: V0-V3 (1st, 2nd, 3rd)
  • Intermediate: V4-V6 (1st, 2nd, 3rd)
  • Open: V6+ (1st, 2nd, 3rd)
  • Masters: 40+ (1st, 2nd)

Womens

  • Beginner: V0-V3 (1st, 2nd, 3rd)
  • Intermediate: V4-V6 (1st, 2nd, 3rd)
  • Open: V6+ (1st, 2nd, 3rd)
  • Masters: 40+ (1st, 2nd)

Rules: Competitors will have 2.5 hours to climb as many problems as possible in their category. Points are assigned to each problem, and penalties are applied for failed attempts (max deduction: 15 points). Top five climbs count toward the final score.

Some overlap is expected, there won't be specific climbs for categories. Each climb will have a point value and you can try whatever you want! Anyone who has a final score extremely outside of their category will be bumped.
